Cross Stitch : Table Cloth

Though I am not comfortable with cross stitch finally able to finish one cross stitch. It took me a lot of time because it took more time to remove wrongly done  stitches than stitching..:). We call it matty work because the fabric is called matty (aida) cloth.
But I am happy  it came nice, and looking pleasant  and colour combination is also good. colours in the Pictures  are slightly  different from the real colours. How do you like it!!??

Peacock:Wall Hanging

I  can't  wait to post this peacock though it is not framed yet. Of all the peacocks I have done so far on the same design I liked this peacock the most.

Bullion Work: Wall Hanging

One of my last pending project finally finished. I wanted to try bullions on my favourite design.
Do you remember this design!!? I did net work on this design long back and that was my first post in my blog.

In this the whole design measures 15" tall and 8" wide. With border it measures 11"*18".
For this project I have used about 30 shades in silk thread.
Bullion stitch is the main stitch. French knots, stem stitch, chain stitch , fly stitch and feather stitch are the other stitches I have used.

Yoke & Sleeves 3

This is one set of very simple stitches grouped to form a beautiful pattern. Less time consuming, easy yet very attractive for me. straight stitch, and cross stitches are used and done with 2 strands of silk thread worked on semi silk material.

Thread Lamp

I did this thread lamp few days back. Used ordinary thread which is used for tying flowers and painted with metallic colours . How is it !!
