Chemanthi Stitch Variation: Saree Blouse

Here I am posting one of chemanthi stitch variation done on saree blouse. And I did muvvala kuttu for the neck line. I am doing the same work on saree too.

In fact I have completed few of my long pending but small embroidery works. Will post them later  once after i get my camera back.

Embroidery: Saree and Saree blouse

I did muvvala kuttu on village cotton saree with muvvala kuttu using 2 strands of silk thread, Same was done for its blouse too.. it was easy stitch and less time consuming..I like it very much..did you!?

This embroidery on these saree blouses is worked with anklet stitch, chemanthi stitch, muvvala kuttu and chemanthi stitch variation..

Kutch work, Cable Stitch, Half Anklet Stitch: Saree Blouse

When my DD liked my kutch work saree blouse I thought to make one for her too. So here it is..

Stitches
Half Anklet for star shaped flowers..I call it half anklet because the stitch is only half part of anklet stitch(muvvala kuttu).. the stitch is variation of cretan stitch.

and the stitch in blue is cable stitch
I have added stick kundans in the centre of the flowers.

Threads used are anchor cotton floss. How is it!?
