Net Work: Kurthi

I did net work on this cotton kurthi. In telugu this stitch is familiar with the name vala kuttu. Vala means net. The stitch is variation of buttonhole stitch.
For the flowers I have used 2 strands of shaded silk thread. Long and short stitch for leaves   with 2 strands of shaded silk thread. Stem stitch for stem.
I started to stitch this dress for me but gifted to my niece when she visited here..it looks best on her.

Readers Embroidery works

It is always a great feeling to see readers embroidery that to when they say they learned from my tutorials.
It motivates me to give more tutorials too..:)..if I don't know how many are following my tutorials it is like waste of time and effort...
My cousin sister Geethanjali did many beautiful embroidery works which I have seen them in person. Really great works. So thought to share them.. she mailed me some of the pictures which I am posting here.
We shared many designs and ideas..:) I copied those designs and later worked on the same..

Net work..vala kuttu

Vala kuttu is nothing but the variation of buttonhole stitch. Vala is net in telugu language. The stitch looks like net so the name.
Here i have worked on a kameez which is crepe material. The design starts from the vest of the kameez and ends on the opposite shoulder.
