Peacock: Kurthi
I did one more(4th) embroidery on the same design, this time to gift my niece..you can find my other projects with this design here n here..
long and short stitch,stem stitch, bullion work, shaded buttonhole stitch, herringbone stitch, pistil stitch, buttonhole stitch, network, french knots, pearl knots are the stitches used. And I have used metallic crochet threads(wings), rimzim threads(feathers), anchor cotton threads and silk threads.

Peacock 2
I did second project of peacock on raw silk material for my daughter's kurthi. You can see my first project here.
For peacock feathers I have used rimzim thread and worked stem stitch. For eye of the feather I have used silk thread and worked long and short stitch with silk thread.
Flowers are done with longand short stitch, shaded buttonhole stitch, chemanthi stitch, bullion work . Leaves are done with long and short and chemanthi stitch. Bark is done with stem stitch.
