Bullion stitch: Saree

This is the saree designed by me and embroidery done by my sister-in-law. Stitch is bullion stitch done with 2 strands of silk thread.

Embroidery: Saree and Saree blouse

I did muvvala kuttu on village cotton saree with muvvala kuttu using 2 strands of silk thread, Same was done for its blouse too.. it was easy stitch and less time consuming..I like it very much..did you!?

Embroidery : Saree Blouse

This embroidery on these saree blouses is worked with anklet stitch, chemanthi stitch, muvvala kuttu and chemanthi stitch variation..

Embroidery with macrame knots

When I was kid my mom taught me macrame knots and I did few macrames also. LAter after I started doing embroidery one day suddenly the thought came to my mind why not to try macrame knots in embroidery. Immediately I tried and it looks good. Here are the pictures of it. Didn't you like it too!!
