I did second project of peacock on raw silk material for my daughter's kurthi. You can see my first project here.
For peacock feathers I have used rimzim thread and worked stem stitch. For eye of the feather I have used silk thread and worked long and short stitch with silk thread.
Flowers are done with longand short stitch, shaded buttonhole stitch, chemanthi stitch, bullion work . Leaves are done with long and short and chemanthi stitch. Bark is done with stem stitch.

ReplyDeleteKranam there no such stitch with the name rimzim..rimzim is a thread type..you can stitch all the stitches with this thread..
